USB Server
USB Server Solution with MosChip Network Appliance Processors
Powered with Moschip's Network Appliance Processors and other companion chips, our solution enables network users to connect to remote USB devices like Printers, Scanners, Digital Cameras and USB Flash drives over the network. It is ideal for home office, small office or classroom use. USB Server application supports both Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks - making it easy to use USB devices from Wired, Wi-Fi Networks.
The MosChip USB Server business solution comes with user friendly client software which maps USB devices connected to the USB Server product onto the local host machine. USB Server solution enables the USB devices to be available as a "Virtual USB Devices" over the Wired / Wi-Fi Networks. USB Server solution is based on following implementation:
- Convert USB incoming traffic from the device into an Ethernet packet and transmitting it to the network and vice versa.
- The PCs run some variation of client software, which would make these networked USB devices appear as local USB devices to the operating system
Moschip's goal is to provide performance optimized, cost-effective (affordable) and reliable solutions. With the help of our superior customer/applications support team, we will help you bring your solution to market on time.
