MCS9845
The MCS9845 is a PCI based dual-channel high performance UART with external I/O interface. The MCS9845 offers standard 16C550 compatible dual UART. In addition, MCS9845 supports the existing ISA style interface to add additional external functions like UARTS or printer ports.
“MCS9845CV” is discontinued, “End of Life (EOL)” and replaced with “MCS9845CV-BA”.
MCS9845CV-BA is an improved part with complete compatibility (i.e Pin to Pin, Features,
Software & Specifications) with MCS9845CV. Refer to the migration application note
for further details.
