Industrial Automation solution can be developed based on MCS8140, this solution can support various peripherals such as MCS7840 - USB based RS232/RS485 Controllers, different Serial Controllers.
The MCS8140 Network Appliance has generic interfaces like USB and PCI Host controllers. This gives flexibility to connect any PCI or USB Based I/O modules like USB to I/O controllers or PCI to IO Controller to build Industrial automation system.
