MosChip is probably the only world-class fabless semiconductor company from India. The Company’s headquarters and the design center housing 118 employees (around 91 engineers) are located at Hyderabad, India. The company also has an office in the Silicon Valley, which provides product intelligence, customer and marketing support. MosChip’s products are designed in India, fabricated in world-class fabs in Taiwan and sold worldwide through the US office.

Over the last few years, MosChip has built an engineering team that is capable of designing end products. The team is product centric, which thinks of products working across different operating systems and multiple platforms of various hardware configurations. Seventeen products are currently in volume production / customer sampling in the PCI, USB and IPSec area.

MosChip’s engineering expertise is in PCI, USB, IEEE 1394, Serial – Parallel, System on a Chip, Device Drivers, Embedded Firmware, Engineering and Reference Platforms, PLL, Transceivers and A/D & D/A.

The company is also developing custom products and Intellectual Property for customers.
