# ASIC Design Engineer (Code: ADE)
Location: Hyderabad, India
Qualifications: B.E/ B.Tech /M.Tech /M.S. in Electronics
Engineering
3 + years of proven experience in developing VLSI
products.Extremely strong fundamentals in digital
design techniques and total familiarity with Verilog,
Synopsys, Perl and other coverage and lint tools
essential. Must have delivered working silicon and
should possess solid debug skills. Skills with lab
tools and instruments essential. Familiarity with
system architecture and interfaces like PCI, USB,
IEEE1394, Ethernet etc a plus.
Must be conversant with FPGA driven methodologies
and should be able to understand SW driven architectural
nuances. Ability to work with cross functional teams

# SoC Verification Lead/Manager (Code: VERI L/M-SoC)
Location: Hyderabad, India
Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters (computer science or electronics engineering)
The candidate should have 7 to 10 years experience in leading or managing ASIC/SoC verification activity
and should have successful completed several ASIC/SoC projects from start to end.
SoC Verification Lead/Manager works closely with the architects, hardware and software design teams to lead
the ASIC/SoC verification group. The key functions and responsibilities are the following:
Manage verification team in Developing the SoC verification methodology and architecture. Develop necessary verification
process, verification environment and simulation models. Develop block and system-level test benches and verification environments using Verilog/SystemVerilog, C/C++, SystemC and/or other verification
languages as appropriate. Explore tools and in-house script developments for verification automation, test bench automation and, regression other verification enhancements to improve productivity and
functional coverage. Develop verification test plans, test suites and drive the verification activity.
Must have good understanding of ASIC/SoC verification methodologies and must have developed a complete verification environment, developed test cases,
conducted functional simulations and exposure to functional coverage and bug management schemes. Must be knowledgeable RTL, gate level, timing, etc., DFT and BIST and processor verification.
Must have good understanding of embedded processor based SoC architectures and must have completed verification of one or more embedded processor based SoC. Must be able to develop
verification plan and verification schedules.
# SoC Architect/Design Manager (Code: ARCTT-SoC)

Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters (computer science or electronics engineering)
The candidate should have 7 to 10 years experience in leading or managing spec to silicon validation of ASIC/SoC.
SoC Architect/Design Lead or Manager works closely with the marketing, hardware design and software teams to lead
the SoC architecture developments and design activities. In this technical leadership role, this person is expected to serve as a liaison between the design engineering and marketing/apps
in resolving requirement and implementation issues. The key functions and responsibilities are the following:
Lead or manage a team in developing and implementing product architectures based on market requirements, application analysis and competitive analysis.
Provide technical directions to design/verification team and provide technical management support for the program manager. Develop functional specification and detailed architecture specifications
including the chip interfaces, the block partitions, HW/SW partitions and register specifications. Perform architecture analysis through analytical and simulation methods. Explore architecture schemes
to meet the application needs, power and performance goals. Must be able to understand various standard and compliance requirements; provide directions for implementation and verification to meet
those requirements. Ability to define standard based and/or proprietary innovative algorithms based on the architecture needs and design approaches/directions for cost-effective implantations. Develop
verification test plans, review test cases, validate test results and support the verification activity.
Must have developed ASIC/SoC architectures, implemented and delivered several functional embedded processor based ASIC/SoC from start to end. Must have
experience in performing engineering estimations for area, HW/SW partitioning, performance, power and package for project planning and engineering proposal. Must have developed product
specifications and architecture specifications for one or more ASIC/SoC with detailed description, operations, interfaces, register specifications and electrical specifications. Must be very strong
in Verilog, C/C++ or SystemC and familiar with ESL tools. Must be strong in of embedded processor based SoC architectures and good understanding of cache, internal bus and peripherals
such as UART, SPI, I2C, I2S, etc. Must have experience in incorporating standards/compliance requirements (such as 802.3, 803.11x, PCIe, etc) in the architecture, implementation and validation.
Must have good understanding of - Ethernet, TCP/IP and USB, high speed interfaces – DDR2, PCI, PCIe, etc., SATA, audio and video interfaces. WLAN/802.11x would be a plus. Knowledgeable
on one or more applications such as NAS, Wireless access points, gateways, routers, STB, media servers, mobile devices, etc.

Candidate shall be working in TCP/IP application
development in Linux. Should have at least 4+ years

Protocols: Knowledge of NMS products (server side)

Well versed in system level prototype / product validation
as a combination of hardware / firmware / software
in an ASIC / Chip environment. Hands-on experience
in developing and implementing product test plans,
analyzing logs, traces for failure patterns and generating
comprehensive reports. Experience in working with
cross functional teams to resolve customer issues/field
problems related to software driver, firmware or
hardware effectively. Able to work with OrCAD schematics
to debug and troubleshoot prototype and customer
product boards for solving application design problems.
Willing to travel abroad to handle field customer
issues, at short notice.
Job requires leadership & co-ordination skills
to work with team of cross functional engineers.
Good written and oral communication and inter personal
skills. Needs to appreciate, understand customer
related urgencies & should be willing to work

Prior experience/knowledge in the following areas
is essential: Windows based device drivers, Linux

# Windows Application Engineer: Senior Software Engineer/Staff

developing applications on Windows Platforms.
The candidate

# Senior Firmware Lead Engineer (Code: SFW LEAD - SOC)
Location: Irvine, CA. USA

The Irvine branch is a recent
acquisition of MosChip. The Irvine branch will support two existing
SoCs for DV/HDV Camera and DVR applications as well as develop its SoC
roadmap with the help of the excellent team in India.
Responsibilities: Candidate
will lead team in dynamic, international environment to develop and maintain
firmware for ARM9 based SOC's for consumer/professional DV/HDV cameras and
DVR applications. Will own code base of ~500K lines of C and take responsibility
that code integrity is maintained. Will contribute to architectural decisions
for both firmware and hardware and implement/debug with team. Candidate will maintain
source control and code review systems. Will port linux to ARM9 based SoC.
Candidate must have excellent C
programming skills and good exposure to OS internals, concepts and programming.
Must have lab debug experience, good communication skills and work well with a
team. Should have experience maintaining version control system as well as
lightweight code review system. Candidate should demonstrate experience with
Linux/Unix and perl programming. Should have experience with some of USB, PCI,
ATA, 1394, TCP/IP stacks.
